Reinforced Studded Tyres*

These tyres are reinforced at the sidewall for increased durability.

They can be fitted with a non-standard number of studs. A regular studded tyre typically has up to 50 studs per metre of circumference. For example, a 185/60R15 tyre has a rolling circumference of about 1910 mm, which normally means no more than 100 studs.

In RAPTOR ANNELIE tyres, however, there are 440 studs – four times more, giving you four times the grip points and four times the confidence when driving on snow and ice. Tyres with 440 studs are widely and successfully used for ice driving.

Stud configurations available

Each tyre is manufactured with a special tread compound made from a rubber–caoutchouc blend that firmly locks the studs in place, preventing them from coming loose. You can choose from several studding options:

1. Standard civil studs
Short studs without additional reinforcement.
Held in place by the natural friction of metal against rubber.

2. Professional motorsport studs
Long studs (8 mm diameter, 12.5 mm length), made of steel with a lightweight profile.
Equipped with a wear-resistant hard tip that withstands asphalt use.
Installed with adhesive to strengthen the bond between metal and rubber.

3. Reduced stud count (approx. 200 studs)
Choose either civil studs (without adhesive) or motorsport studs (with adhesive).
